The Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting, will be held Tuesday February 23, 2010 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Meaford Hall.

Frank Miele, CAO Municipality of Meaford, will be the guest speaker. Geoff Solomon, president of the Chamber, says “we are pleased to have Frank speak at our AGM. Frank has been Meaford’s CAO for just over a year now and, under his guidance, the Municipality has undertaken a new Economic Development Strategy”.

The meeting culminates with the election of the 2010 Board of Directors. Only current members of the Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce are eligible to vote for the slate of directors.

President of the Chamber, Geoff Solomon, says “We hope that all business owners and operators in the Municipality, whether they’re home-based sole proprietorships, retail, tourism, agricultural or manufacturing operations, will lend their voice to the Chamber”.
