The Meaford Independent

The Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce has released the list of nominees for their annual Community Awards Presentation.

The awards will be handed out at the Community Awards Dinner on Saturday March 27 at the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre.

Local businesses and individuals are nominated by the public, and a committee consisting of both Chamber board members and community representatives then reviews the nominations and decides winners in each category.

The nominees for the 2010 Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce Community Awards are as follows:

Most Improved Business Award

For significant expansion of operation and/or improved or enhanced premises making the community more attractive.
