Several members of the Meaford Coyotes Track Club began their high school track season on Friday, May 17 in Kincardine.  The BAA district high school meet is the first of several steps for athletes to make their way to the OFSAA high school provincial championships to be held in Oshawa from June 6th-8th.

Meaford councillors were no doubt aware that approving a plan to begin phasing out the area rating for police services in this municipality would bring some heat from rural Meaford residents, but they went ahead and began the process, and in the long term, it will hopefully have been the right thing to do.
