I agree with the letter opposing the changes in garbage pickup. I'm guessing the decision makers don't have babies in the house. Disposable diapers for two weeks? Ay karumba.
And to find out about the changes - a visit to the $35000 municipality web site was less fun than picking up this week's garbage that sat over night and got torn apart by critters of the night: To wit:
Go to meaford.ca ... enter 'garbage' in the search header. Search header doesn't work.
Go to quick links - select 'Waste Collection' - quick links don't work.
Go to side menu, select Waste Collection. Get sub menus -
Select Waste Collection sub menu - no information or schedules
Select Schedules Maps & More sub menu - no schedules, no maps, only a whole lotta more
Go to Public Notices - finally find info.
Scratch head in disbelief.
