I have not gone to Beautiful Joe Park very often, primarily because I got angry at it's appearance. It is such a beautiful park which unfortunately does not get it's just attention and care.
However, I went a few days ago and was elated by what had been done to restore the flower beds and monuments to absolutely beautiful presentations. I can only hope that this can be maintained and that other improvements are on the agenda for the future.
I would also hope that the Beautiful Joe Park of Meaford can be better promoted as part of our Tourism and Heritage promotion mandate.
Congratulations to all who are responsible for a job very well done.
