We just received the "dear john" letter today and are truly disappointed that our request has not been accepted. We asked for five instructors, cut it down to two and even if you had helped us with one instructor, that would have been helpful.

Response to Drug Reform Column

Dear Editor,

I can't believe how one sided and poorly researched the Kaisha Thompson article about Ontario's Drug reform was. She start by saying that there are two sides to every story, but she have obviously not gone to the trouble of speaking to a pharmacy owner. If there are truly too many pharmacies , surely you can find a pharmacist to set the record straight.

Why Thompson is Wrong

While I appreciate the journalistic efforts of Kaisha Thompson to present the government’s side of its battle against pharmacists, I don’t believe she can even begin to understand the complex remuneration system to pharmacists and the reasons for which the proposed cutbacks will be toxic to rural community pharmacies.

Meaford Hall a Local Gem

As a citizen of the Municipality of Meaford, I am very proud of Meaford Hall and the Meaford  Hall & Culture Foundation. It often seems that their  work goes unnoticed and unappreciated.  Their fiercest critics are people who do not frequent the events in the Hall, or care about the Foundation's activities.


Last Saturday night I was privileged to be one of a full house audience completely enthralled by the performance of "Dala". People from all walks of life were present, but for me , the exciting part  was to see that the largest percentage in the house were young people, many of  whom had travelled a distance to come to Meaford Hall.
