This past weekend, the Meaford Skating Club hosted the 2012 Ice Dreams Competition.
We welcomed approximately 200 skaters and 600 fans from across Grey & Bruce counties to our home arena in hospitable Meaford style.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers and sponsors, the event was a huge success raising more money than any previous Ice Dreams competition.

In Team Spiral, Hannah Knight, Emma Fulford, Emma Wright and Teagan Davies combined together for a gold medal and Kirstin Knight, Taylor Toth, Madi Cornelisse and Cody-Jo Dunnill placed 6th. Kirstin Knight, Taylor Toth, Emma Fulford and Teagan Davies got the gold for their Team Shoot the Duck. Emma Wright, Emma Fulford, Hannah Knight and Teagan Davies took 6th place with their rendition of Cirqu-Ice.
The competition culminated with Meaford taking gold in the Team Production category for their performance of Top Secret choreographed by Karen Verbrugge.
