Learning to do better with less.
That is the core philosophy being promoted by the organizers of the upcoming launch of the Eureka Exchange at Meaford Hall.
The Eureka Exchange is being touted as a virtual innovation centre geared to helping small businesses share and discover ways to grow the economy and protect the environment at the same time.
An information package released by the organizers states that “The Eureka Exchange brings together green innovations, green technologies, and ideas geared to enhance productivity for small and medium-sized businesses.”
Scheduled for March 20th, the launch of the Eureka Exchange will host an Internet–based High Definition TV broadcast. The program will include speakers from around the world, business leaders and exciting ideas that are on the forefront of the green productivity revolution.
In addition to those that attend the Eureka Exchange in person, it is also hoped that some 5,000 others will participate from their offices, living rooms, or anywhere else that they may choose by attending electronically through their computers.
An eco-fair will accompany the Eureka Exchange at Meaford Hall that will showcase green technology innovations that would be of interest to small businesses and consumers alike.
Tickets to attend the Eureka Exchange in the Meaford Hall Opera house will cost you $49.95 (including lunch), and can be purchased at the hall box office, or through the Meaford Hall website, while the eco-fair will be free of charge and open to all.
If you are looking at participating over the internet, tickets are not yet available but will be sold through the 'Going For The Green' website.
