Grey Bruce residents are being reminded to thoroughly wash and cook fiddleheads before they are consumed to avoid illness. Fiddleheads are curled, edible shoots of the ostrich fern. Considered a seasonal delicacy, fiddleheads are collected in the wild and are commonly eaten at this time of year.



Canadian Blood Services held a blood donor clinic in Meaford on Thursday May 3rd at the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre.
Each year close to 900 individuals in Grey Bruce will be diagnosed with diabetes.
