The winner of Passport Meaford 2011 was drawn at the Annual Mayor’s Levy held on New Year’s Day at Meaford Hall. Congratulations to winner Wilma Jacklin of Meaford.
Wilma has chosen her prize to be $500 Meaford bucks to be spent at any/all of the 24 businesses who participated in Passport Meaford.
Passport Meaford 2011 was a home grown Shop Local initiative designed to encourage residents and visitors to shop in the unique businesses that we have in Meaford.
Passport holders were encouraged to get their Passport stamped by at least 8 participating locations which entitled them to enter a draw at the end of the year for a chance to win a choice between two amazing gifts; 500 Meaford Bucks or a Meaford Experience Package of the same value.
Plans for Passport Meaford 2012 are already underway with a larger print run and an earlier start date. Further details to be announced mid-February.
