The Children's department of the Meaford Public Library has big plans for the March Break period that will provide a host of activities and events to keep the little ones engaged during their time away from class.
Their 'March Break Madness' schedule includes a 'Bead-o-Rama' on Tuesday March 16. The workshop for children ages seven and over offers an opportunity for some creative expression using beads.
Also planned are a 'Green Story Time' at 10:30 on St. Patrick's Day March 17. Open to all ages, those who attend are encouraged to wear green clothing.
The same day in the afternoon, the Library will hold an 'Irish Bingo' event for ages six and up.
March Break programming closes with a guitar workshop on Thursday March 18 for any children over age eight. Attendees can bring their guitars and learn some tips and tricks offered by three music instructors.
The fun at the Library doesn't end when the kids head back to school.
An Easter craft event is planned for the last Saturday in March, and in April there will be photography classes for teens, Spring Story Time on Wednesday's, and a special Earth Day art event on April 22.
