Forum on Democracy to be Held on April 30

parliamentA free public forum on increasing awareness, and strengthening democracy in Canada will take place in Owen Sound on April 30.

The event is being hosted by local activist group “Peace & Justice Grey Bruce.”

Peace & Justice Grey Bruce has been concerned about an apparent crisis of democracy occurring in Canada today.

Bowl For Kids' Sake Raises Nearly $15G

bowlingThe Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle (BBBSGT) have announced that the 2013 Bowl for Kids’ Sake event at Meaford Bowl raised $14,847.

This is our most important fundraiser of the year,” Board of Directors President, Doug Paul said. “Once again, we are so grateful to the communities of Meaford and the Town of Blue Mountains for their collective support in making this year such a great success.”
