The Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle (BBBSGT) have announced that the 2013 Bowl for Kids’ Sake event at Meaford Bowl raised $14,847.

“This is our most important fundraiser of the year,” Board of Directors President, Doug Paul said. “Once again, we are so grateful to the communities of Meaford and the Town of Blue Mountains for their collective support in making this year such a great success.”

While April may be in full swing, winter is clinging on, and today (April 11) in the Meaford area, and across much of Ontario, a combination of snow, ice pellets, and freezing rain will make for a less than spring-like day.
