Through the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Board of the Georgian Bay Treatment Centre, carried out an in-depth needs study into the feasibility of establishing an addiction treatment centre for area youth.

Today marks an historic day for the Autism community, as Canadians recognize World Autism Awareness Day for the first time. To commemorate the day in Grey and Bruce County, all municipalities were invited to “Raise the Flag” of awareness.

The local chapter for Grey and Bruce delivered flags to County Council members of both counties in hopes that they would help deliver a message to families dealing with Autism that they care.
