cruiser_lights_225Grey County OPP has charged a 33 year old Meaford man with failing to comply with court orders after he was found to have been drinking.

On Wednesday, February 1st, 2012, at approximately 11:25 pm, a Grey County OPP officer observed the lone man standing next to his vehicle which was in the lot of a closed gas station in Singhampton on Grey Rd. 124 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. There was evidence to suggest the man had been drinking.

In December 2011 and January 2012, the man was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, uttering threats, over 80 mgs and other various criminal offences. At that time he was placed on conditions not to consume alcohol and be in the company of his surety at all times.

The man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with the court orders. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for today, February 2, 2012.
