Police investigators remain on the scene Friday of a double homicide in the Town of the Blue Mountains.
On June 6, at approximately 1:35 pm, members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a missing person complaint.
During their investigation, officers attended a residence on Kitzbuhl Crescent in Craigleith. Inside the residence, officers located the deceased bodies of an adult male and an adult female.
The OPP are investigating their deaths as a homicide, though details of the cause of death will not be known until after post mortem examinations.
The identities of the victims have yet to be released.
The Collingwood and The Blue mountains OPP Crime Unit under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Shawn Glassford, Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), are continuing their investigation.
