Snowmobile Stolen

Chatsworth, ON. – Grey County O.P.P is investigating the theft of a motorized snow vehicle which occurred on February 5, 2010.

The machine was being operated along Side Road 49 of Grey Highlands, between the hours of 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm, when it broke down. The driver, unable to start it, left the snow machine and began to walk for help. While walking away he observed a vehicle pull up to the snow machine. A person got out of the vehicle and jumped on the snow machine. The individual was able to start it, turn around and headed to Grey Rd 4, along with the suspect vehicle.

The stolen snow machine is described as a black, 500 Indy Polaris snow mobile. There are numerous stickers affixed to it. It has a low front end, a high back end, and raised jumping handle bars. The bottom pan is pink in colour. The registration number is not available at this time.

Anyone with information that might assist is asked to contact Grey County O.P.P. or Crime Stoppers. Constable L. McGinnis is the investigating officer.
