Drugs Found During Traffic Stop

Chatsworth, ON –An early morning traffic stop on November 15 by Grey County OPP officers netted a quantity of drugs. The driver faces several charges.

At about 3 am officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 26 west of Meaford.  The driver was unable to produce a drivers’ licence or other identification so he provided his name and particulars verbally.

Fraudster Claimed ID Lost in Fire

Chatsworth, ON. –Grey County OPP is investigating a series of cheque frauds reported this week. The MO of the fraud included an indication by the suspect that he had lost his identification in a fire.

The suspect attended the Foodland store in Markdale a total of 4 times from September 4 to September 7, 2009.
