As the federal election campaign enters the final stretch, the candidates will be back in Meaford tonight for the second round of debate as the Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce hosts a candidate's meeting at Woodford Hall.

The Liberal Campaign for Kimberley Love reported this morning that more than 100 signs have been defaced, stolen, and intentionally damaged over the past two weeks.

“My father has twice had to replace the sign at the end of his own lane,” says Love, “and it has been scrawled with obscene four-letter words. My father is 83 years old, and he’s trying to scrub this disgusting language off his daughter’s signs. What are we coming to?”
