bwdsb treaties rec 2016 270 The Bluewater District School Board is joining other school communities across Ontario to honour the first ever Treaties Recognition Week, which takes place from November 6 – 12.

As announced by the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, this special occasion to promote public education and awareness about treaties and treaty relationships was designated by the Province to occur annually during the first week of November.

EQAO Results for BWDSB Show Improvement in Reading & Writing, Drop in Math

classroom270 1 The latest standardized test results for Bluewater District School Board are now available from the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO). These include the 2015 – 2016 Assessments of Reading, Writing and Mathematics for the Primary (Grades 1 – 3) and Junior (Grades 4 – 6) Divisions, the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics (Academic and Applied), and the Grade 10 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).
