Watsonobit 270Friends are invited to the Interment for Cynthia Ann Watson (née Bennett) on November 25, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford.

Friends not able to attend the Interment are welcome to join us to share memories and celebrate Cynthia's life at 3 p.m. at 91 Denmark St., home of Pat and Laurie Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meaford Hospital Foundation, the Gord Downie Brain Cancer Research Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice, in memory of Cynthia.

Born in Meaford, Ontario, on November 5, 1940, Cynthia died in Ottawa on October 22, 2017, of brain cancer. Daughter of Colin Emerson Bennett of Meaford and Mary Dorothy Tindale of Toronto. Cherished mother of Mary Fullerton (Bruce) of Toronto, Ian Watson (Sarah Harris) of Vancouver, and Fiona Jane Wood (Jeff) of Toronto. Dear sister of Laurie Bennett (Pat) of Meaford, and Mary Ellen Norwood (Bob) of Toronto. Cynthia leaves her devoted husband, Denis, after 53 years, and her seven beloved grandchildren.

Obituary: McNally, Doris Luella

doris mcnally270Born in Euphrasia Township on July 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Ella (nee Ward) and Edgar Gorley, Doris passed away in Meaford on Sunday October 8, 2017 in her 84th year.

Doris, a longtime resident of Meaford, was predeceased by her husband Harold McNally in 2016 and is remembered as a cherished Mother by her daughters Shirley McNally of Meaford and Margaret McNally-Murphy and her husband Alvin of Toronto.

Obituary: Le Sauvage, James Alexander

In Owen Sound, on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at the age of 73. Brother of Larry and his wife Julie of Hanover, and Roger and his wife Vivienne of Hepworth. Predeceased by his parents Alfred T.C. and Annie (nee Woods), his brothers Bev Almas and Alf, and by his sisters Jessie Marie, and Elva and her husband M. Leroy Palmer. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jimmy will also be missed by his many friends in Meaford and at the Georgian Heights Nursing Home.
